Association of North Western Intensive Care Units

ANWICU is an educational and professional association of Critical Care clinicians from across the Northwest. Since its inception the organisation has organised numerous educational meetings and will continue to do so.

It is likely that our role will increase in future years particularly in the areas of trainees’ education and research. In addition to these roles, it has provided a network of contacts from which friendships and good relations have developed to the benefit of patients and doctors alike.

It is the impartial voice of Critical Care in the region, providing a supportive and non-political atmosphere where issues can be discussed freely.
